Double up for Vom cats!

SC(N) CarilloCat Dobronega DVM, and SC Kedr Onix Gloria *RU were both named 'Cat of the Year' in their respective genders, when the NRR (Norwegian Breed Cat Association) recently published the lists of the most successful cats of 2018.

That's a performance that can be difficult to match.

«"Dobronega" and "Kedr" are Siberian cats, live in Spydeberg and are owned by Kari Granaas Hansen.

"It has been a completely incredible year, but I had never dreamt of topping the lists for both genders," says a delighted breeder and owner of both cats.

It's not the first time cats from CarilloCat have topped the annual lists. But two winners in the same year is pushing it, even for a seasoned cat and dog breeder and exhibitor.

"I'm incredibly pleased with this, especially since I haven't exhibited cats much in recent years," says Kari, pleased.

Kari has been feeding the cats VOM cat food ever since the food was launched, and has only good things to say about the cat food from Trøgstad:

I am convinced that raw meat is the best food for both cats and dogs, she says, and continues: "The coat becomes healthy and the cats develop bodies with substance and proper weight. Raw meat is simply the most natural food for animals that are, by nature, carnivores.".

And she should know a thing or two about feeding after around 40 years as an animal owner and breeder:

I have always given the animals the best. That's why we have also been using VOM since Magne started production, alone in a shed a few kilometres from today's splendid facility at Mansrud! First to the dogs, then to the cats, as a separate feed for them was also developed.

Dobronega also received the title 'National Winner', a title that is held in very high regard among the show-ring community.
She is home-bred and has five generations of "CarilloCat" cats in her pedigree, whereas Kedr was imported from the breed's homeland, Russia.
