VOM as a brand and VOM as a raw material

“Men, isn't it vomit vomit?“

It's no wonder people get confused; our brand VOM has the same name as a raw material we use in several of our products.

Here is some clarification and a few facts for those of you who are curious, or perhaps a little confused. When we write VOM in capital letters, we are consistently referring to our brand, VOM. The company Vom og Hundemat AS was established in 2000, and the name VOM has been in use since 2014.

What is vom actually?

Storfevom has always been an important raw material in several of our products. It not only tastes delicious, but it is also nutritious and contains natural lactic acid bacteria.

Ruminants such as cattle and sheep have four stomachs, and the rumen is the first of these. To us humans, the raw material has a strong smell and often doesn't look very appetising. However, rumen is often a great favourite among our four-legged friends.

We have a simplified product range with both complete feeds and supplementary feeds. In all our complete feeds we use beef tallow as one of the raw materials, but we also have a supplementary feed made exclusively from beef tallow, TASTE 100% Beef Tallow.
