The Transparency Act

Vom og Hundemat AS is a major player in the dog food industry in which we operate. We aim to be open and transparent about how we operate. We have a duty to provide information and comply with the new Transparency Act.

Through our business, we aim to contribute to the development of a healthy and high-quality product within this industry. The way we carry out our procurement, monitor contracts and collaborate with and develop suppliers are important measures to ensure respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.

Our commitment to respecting fundamental human rights and decent working conditions stems, among other things, from the Vom and Hundemat ethical guidelines and anti-corruption guidelines.

Vom and Hundemat shall promote a corporate culture characterised by respect and consideration for the environment, other people and their property. We shall always act in a way that inspires trust when collaborating with colleagues, suppliers, customers and other business partners.

Vom and Hundemat have high expectations of their suppliers regarding ethics, sustainability and quality.
The suppliers undertake to have a code of business ethics that is at least as stringent as the Vom and Hundemat internal Values and Ethical Guidelines.

Vom and Hundemat are committed to traceability in the supply chain and therefore require that our suppliers, who are registered with us, have it.

If you would like more information on how Vom og Hundemat handles actual and potential negative impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions, you can log in to our TransparencyGate portal. You can also report any circumstances that you become aware of which violate fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.
